The doctrine of Divine Providence holds that God, the Creator gives order to his creation and governs it. The Creator is a loving God who keeps creation and all being in existence and guides all things with his infinite knowledge and love. St. John Henry Newman understood this doctrine early on in his life, and thus acted with trust in God, and was convinced that God has a plan or mission for each one. Through prayer and reflection each person can discover God’s plan for himself. As his life unfolded Newman also learned to be patient, waiting on the Lord, confident that God acts in the life of every individual, the Church and nations over time and often in unsuspected manners in a marvelous way. In this video there is short explanation of the above with some quotes by Newman.
